About Game
Rediscovering Maria by Panamsimp tells the story of a husband and wife’s quest to rediscover the spark that used to fill their lives. Now seven years into their marriage and raising two small children, Maria and her husband feel like they’re in a rut—overwhelmed by routine, histrionics and insecurities. What once was fiery intimacy has faded into obligation, sometimes absent emerging for weeks at a time. Maria, who had body image issues after giving birth, is convinced this impacted their worsening sex life. She never really felt desired, despite reassurances.
When work takes her husband to Germany for more than a year, the separation strains their relationship even more. While he’s away, Maria finds comfort in flirtation with her trainer (nothing physical happens). Riddled with guilt, she boards a plane around the world for a confession, and forgiveness, but not of her own.
But now, with the husband returning to America and stress at work at last dissipating, they take a two-week trip together with a daring goal: To restore trust, rekindle sparks and share their fantasies. As they embark on their new quest, one question looms will this journey restore what has been lost or reveal irreparable fissures in their marriage?
