About Game

The Hard Way by Muffin Maker – The lead character, kidnapped as a child, inadvertently returns to his hometown looking for work. While he scales the ladder of success, beautiful women are drawn to him, creating a complex harem. This sci-fi mystery solver and harem-building saga is a prequel to The Long Way that takes place across more than 50 years. It contains an extremely detailed world that requires characters to age and procreate over time, which had to be enabled gradually on a character-by-character basis due to the rendering overhead.

Names and relationships can be customized, and Patreon supporters can even customize character ages and birthdays for an even more personalized experience. The ever-expanding universe of The Hard Way will in time feature fantasy creatures, aliens, and interstellar travel. The pre-alpha build already has more than 30 characters, with six more planned for the initial roster. Over 10 main locations, each with a series of sublocations that let you explore over 40 areas total, with 8 more planned for alpha. The game world will be ever-expanding with new character homes and new locations being added over time, meaning players can experience an immersive and evolving world.
